Development is not a hand out
but a hand up. It is about enabling and equipping communities understand that
they can solve their problems on their own. When the villagers of villages
started off with their own production unit a couple years back they were
apprehensive about their future. But now, not only are the families making
enough money to send their children to school and keep them healthy, that they
also know that they can change their future with their own effort.
